Huduma centre services

Huduma centre offers efficient government services to the citizens of Kenya in the most convenient way possible. Some of the services provided by Huduma Kenya are:

  • Issuing birth certificates. For Huduma centre birth certificate, one needs to provide the birth notification document.
  • Issuing initial identity cards (Documents Required – birth certificate and a copy of it, identity cards of parents and a copy of the same).
  • Assessing stamp duty for all transfers ranging from shares to land (Documents Required – supporting documents like sale agreement, MOA’s, and AOA’s e.t.c, and Form B).
  • Registering self-help groups, welfare societies, and community-based organizations (CBOs) (Documents Required – completed registration forms, list of members along with their ID’s, name of the welfare society, Form A & B completely filled up).
  • Those who intend to start a business needs to register the name of his/her business with the Huduma Centres (Documents Required – name of his/her business and completely filled up BN2 form).
  • Registration of private/limited companies (Documents Required – company name, MOA, AOA).
  • Registration of members of NSSF (Documents Required – national ID cards of members).
  • Registering an employer (owner of a company) with the NSSF (National Social Security Fund) (Documents required – Form SF 001, Incorporation Certificate and Trading License).
  • Clearance certificate from police (Documents required – national identity card).
  • Registration of members of NHIF both informal as well informal sector (Documents Required – formal Sector – Introductory Letter provided by the employer, ID card copy, colored passport size photo, if he/she is married then copy of his/her spouse’s ID card and his/her colored passport size photo and again if they have children then his/her passport size photos and birth certificates).
  • Issuance of tax compliance certificate/clearance certificate (Documents Required – Completed I-TAX form).
  • Providing information regarding status of vehicle registration process through logbook search (Documents Required – registration number of the vehicle).
  • Renewing driver’s license in online mode (Documents Required – name of the person, his ID number).
  • Complaint receival cell for redressing the issues related to services delivered by the Huduma centre (Documents required – national ID card number, related documents).
  • Issuing self declaration forms (No documents required).
  • Providing status of pension claim (Documents required – personal number/ ID number).
  • Inquiring about certificates and cards (No documents required).
  • Issuing single business permit (Documents required – a copy of national identity card, name or a copy of company’s registration certificate, the physical address of the business entity).
  • Providing liquor license (authority letter from Liquor Board).
