This mom is being called all sorts of names for sharing breastfeeding videos on YouTube.
Breastfeeding is a beautiful act. Seeing the serenity on a kid's face as he feeds from his mother is something that fascinates me every time. The comfort and nutrition children get from nursing is almost impossible to match.
But because breasts are sexualized by many adults, when women feed their kids in public people tend to get a little freaked out.
Some people are saying that this YouTuber crosses the line by posting videos of her nursing her children online.
Tasha Maile openly films her children's feeding sessions, which isn't sitting right with a sizable demographic of viewers.
Calling herself the "Spiritual Mama" Tasha is all about healthy eating habits and candid videos showing the beauty of breastfeeding.
Underneath the video above, which is titled "How and Why to Breastfeed Your Toddler," Maile wrote,
"Too much protein, when eating an animal heavy in dead animal and animal excretions leads to calcium leaching from your bones to digest and alkalize the acidic body. We only need 2.5 percent of protein in our diets to thrive. If you are NOT starving, odds are you are getting enough protein. Here is a video to educate you on PROTEIN and give you the TRUTH about PROTEINS!!! She also gets pissed off whenever someone brings up cow's milk.
Maile's message has influenced a lot of people, with one viewer commenting, "love your videos, you inspire me to breastfeed. i've been breastfeeding for 6 months now and my baby loves it."
But some people who are watching her videos think that she's being exploitative of her children and her body.
Her videos are undeniably attracting certain viewers too...
